Lynda De Vita was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 1989, Lynda moved to New York City and attended Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, majoring in Fine Arts with a concentration in Illustration. After graduating in 1994, she moved to South Beach, Florida and worked as freelance Illustrator and Designer.

    In 2007, Lynda received her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration from Marywood University, PA. Currently she is a full-time instructor of Fashion Design and Fashion Illustration, at Ai\Miami International University of Art & Design.

    Lynda creates Fashion Illustrations, Fashion Designs, Illustrations for children's books and magazines, Murals and Fine Art. She is a member of Fashion Group International and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has illustrations published in magazines and greeting cards. Her work is characterized by a fluid line and sumptuous color. Her graceful and creatively ingenious figures just dance off the paper!
